June 2021 Investigation

June, is one of my favorite parts of the year.

June I've been busy, sewing, flying, horse stuff, writing, and all that good stuff.

For father's day we went to a fly in, and we got to sit in in a P51 mustang. Very cool!

Me in the plane
Inside the plane

On a side note, I've been flying most mornings, and I'm finally landing by myself, it's so exciting!!! It's wonderful to see hard work pay off.

I read 2 books this month.
Greenglass House... Super good, so recommend. It is like a mystery, about the house and the strangers that come to stay there..
Also read the first book in the Enola Holmes series, Very good, interesting, though not much mystery...

Rhubarb had a birthday He is now 7 years old. It's so crazy. Seems like he was just 4.

All the ponies...
I haven't been doing a ton of training, in the mornings I have been flying a lot so it gets too hot too soon, to comeback and train.

My brother had a birthday. He is now 12, boy, can't remember his age, but I got it right..

I've been writing, or rather editing my adventure book. It's been going okay, I'm not dropping out of a 100 for 100 GTW challenge, so I've been plowing through.

Dressed up.. This first one is an outfit I made, If you want one like it, message me and I'll make one for you. I'm trying to get back to my sewing business. I don't have the exact fabric as shown, but there is all kinds to pick from/

Looking 40s.

Just another note If you ever want some outfit that you can't find to buy, I might be able to make it for you, maybe even really reasonable.

I'm trying to keep up with blogging.. I have't been super motivated. If you want to see a post, give me the idea.

How was your month?

What style do you want to dress like?

September 2020 Investigation

The month is pretty much over. At the end of this month I'm going to be gone for a week. So I might not be posting.

The mornings are starting to get cooler and its starting to feel like fall. Though I'm not sure if I'm ready for that, but I guess its time for a change.

Got to move cows, mostly bulls on horse back at a friends farm. It was really fun. I haven't done a cow move quite like this. It was very interesting terrain.

Finished 100 for 100! I wrote 16,653 which was really good. My WIP has 22,000 words now.

Of course I've been doing taking care of my animals and riding, Its been getting cold so some days I don't end up riding. Sewing some.... Reading not a lot. Just the Bible. I found a book though, that I really want to ready, so lets hope I can get it read. My goodreads reading challenge is behind my goal. ")

Flew to a fly in, it was smaller, but it was nice to get out. I've been practicing landings with my flight instructor and let me just say, it's a challenge. The other day I did a fairly well landing, I think I did most of it on my own.

Nala had a birthday! She is 2 now.

Been planning my business stuff. Trying to find a name and get stuff together without going insane. Also been packing for camp. I hope we get to go, things are a little sketchy at the moment.

Me and my sister got to milked cow for the first time.

Not sure if I will be posting next Sunday or not, if we do head off to camp, I wont have internet. I'm sure I can set up one ahead of time. Though I'm kinda low on ideas. So if you have any, let me know. What do you guys want to see?

August 2020 Investigation

August is ending, some have gone back to school already. I'm not ready for Summer to end.

It's been both a crazy month and slow, it slowed down after fair.

Solo at fair. The beginning of the month started with the horse 4h fair.

Rhubarb at the show.

Kids waiting for a class, I think they were waiting for western horsemanship here. I only did young horse classes so I had some down time.

Mom and Dad holding solo and waiting for his trail class. While I saddled Rhubarb.

My sister doing her English class.

After having the 4h judging of indoor projects, some of the grand winners got to be displayed at a store in town.

My short  story got best of fair 🠅🠅🠅🠅🠅🠅( yes it's the fist chapter of the my WIP)

Some other best of fair winners

The scrapbook I entered. It has all the pictures of Rhubarb through the years of training him.

My Cowboy Poetry display won best of fair.

One of the poems in the little booklet I made withe the cowboy display.

A headband I knitted.

My youngest brother. ( I was taking pictures for a picture book I put together.) And yeah I made the robes.

My brother in his Jedi attire I made for him. 🠝🠟🠝🠟

Did a lot of other things I can't remember. Most days though were filled with a little sewing, some riding and taking care of horses and other animals. Planning an idea of mine that I will tell you guys about at some point.
Blogging of course. Working and life stuff......

I did a split challenge. It was fun though lots of work at times. I am happy with my progress. I really enjoy inspiring others. And I'm not quitting. On the 11th of August marked one year of me working on the spits and ballet.

Writing has been going and I mean going, not the best but still, I'm writing, since I am doing 100 for 100, I gotta keep writing. It's getting close to the end. Which I kinda need; I am running out of steam.
And Books, well lets just say, not much, I finished the book of Ezekiel and Daniel and most likely Hosea when this is posted.

What have you been up to this month?
How was your August?

7 Day Split Challenge //// Day 7

We are here, it's day 7 last day...... now is the time to see how far we have come .....

Well this has been fun. Also a lot of work, but I think it has payed off.

Be sure to check out the other days: day 6 , day 5 , day 4day 3day 2 , DAY 1

My splits:

Not all the way, I'll get there.

Tip for the day.

Try some stretches with your leg up against something. It may put your leg in the right position to help with flexibility. Remember be careful , and be easy on yourself sometimes taking a day off may help too. Some days might not be so great, but you'll get there. I believe you can!

+I've got my tips on my Instagram also. @rahwrite

Trying new stretches may help a lot.

Just remember this isn't the end, there are more to achieve, being able to do the splits is just the beginning to larger crazier feats and we can do them one day at a time.

Thanks for joining!

+also I'm going to have an extra post sometime this week, than I'm back to just posting on Sunday. See you there!!!

Did you make any progress?

Did you have fun?

Tell me bellow!!!! Love to see your final pic! Just remember to keep stretching.

7 Split Challenge /// Day 6

almost done!!! Give your self a pat on the back if you have made it to day 6.

My split progress,

TIP to of the day....

I want to talk about different types of equipment you can use to get you closer to your splits.

LuxFit Foam Roller, Speckled Foam Rollers for Muscles '3 Year Warranty' with Free Online Instructional Video Extra Firm High Density for Physical

First is a foam roller if you have seen my day 2 tip I talk about how to use it. Its great to use to roll out those quads and hamstrings that are tight.

Gaiam Foam Yoga Block 4 Inch Purple

Next a yoga block this can help with getting down to the splits or using it to prop your foot up if your going for an oversplit. I don't have one so I haven't used one but I think they would be good.

Leg Resistance Exercise Bands Full 5 Piece Set

Also a flex band can be a great to add. You can use it to pull your leg toward you if you can't reach you leg yet. There are tons of uses, I use mine for strength training.

+++++

I'm taking a day off on Saturday, but I'll see you Sunday for the final day.

Do you use any equipment for your split work?

How has your progress been going?

Tell me bellow! I'd love to see pictures of your progress.

It's Almost August
