July 2021 Investigation

 Hi ho, it's been a hot month! 

It's been a busy good month for the most part. 

Did some cow work!

Forth of July took my horse Solo through the parade. 

Crazy Rhubarb came too.

Grandma came and watched the parade. She is in the purple flower shirt! Love her!

Brothers got baptized!

Made this dress. ^^ It's more like a pinafore, something sort of vintage.

I read lot's of books this month

The Ghosts of Greenglass House... great read!

Little Women, love this book so much, I didn't know how much I would like it!

Enola Holmes book 2, very good, listened to the audio in like two days, almost better then the first. 

Eight Cousins, really loved this one, I didn't want it to end. 

Been writing lots, which is good, I'm so happy I've been on track and getting a lot done! 

Finally got some more horse work done. Been longing my horse Solo, and got a bit of riding in on Rhubarb.

I'm not sure if I'm ready for August, I just want summer to keep going, I have way too many sewing projects I want to get done! lol

June 2021 Investigation

 June, is one of my favorite parts of the year. 

June I've been busy, sewing, flying, horse stuff, writing, and all that good stuff. 

For father's day we went to a fly in, and we got to sit in in a P51 mustang. Very cool!

On a side note, I've been flying most mornings, and I'm finally landing by myself, it's so exciting!!! It's wonderful to see hard work pay off. 

I read 2 books this month. 

Greenglass House... Super good, so recommend. It is like a mystery, about the house and the strangers that come to stay there..

Also read the first book in the Enola Holmes series, Very good, interesting, though not much mystery... 

Rhubarb had a birthday He is now 7 years old. It's so crazy. Seems like he was just 4. 

All the ponies...

I haven't been doing a ton of training, in the mornings I have been flying a lot so it gets too hot too soon, to comeback and train. 

My brother had a birthday. He is now 12, boy, can't remember his age, but I got it right.. 

I've been writing, or rather editing my adventure book. It's been going okay, I'm not dropping out of a 100 for 100 GTW challenge, so I've been plowing through. 

Dressed up.. This first one is an outfit I made, If you want one like it, message me and I'll make one for you. I'm trying to get back to my sewing business. I don't have the exact fabric as shown, but there is all kinds to pick from/

Just another note If you ever want some outfit that you can't find to buy, I might be able to make it for you, maybe even really reasonable. 

I'm trying to keep up with blogging.. I have't been super motivated. If you want to see a post, give me the idea.

Han and Chewy (Star Wars Looks)

YAY another star wars look. If you didn't know I did a bunch of star wars posts in May. I've got another one for you today, just for fun! 

Who doesn't like Chewy? Who doesn't want to look like him all the time? Well... maybe some. 

A fun chewy look. I went for a lot of brown colors. Brown lip color and slight make up.

I'm going to make me a better belt someday but for now, its a rush to find a any belt, type belt today. 

The white shirt is close to Hans.

Jeans and some boots I had, Black boots would have been more accurate. It's a fun look. I went with no make up this time. 

Same with the vest. It should be black. Welcome to my brown world.

Wish I had some stripes down the pant leg. But this works as an casual look.

Star Wars Looks Padme (red outfit)

Since it was Mother's day I wanted to do A Star Wars Look of Padme Amidala, her red outfit.

This outfit is a little more casual and not too close to her outfit in the movie. It's a fun though. 

A picture of her red outfit in the first movie The Phantom Menace. I was a bit rushed so the pictures are a bit strange... Just go with it. 

I went with the red pieces that I had. I don't have a lot of red clothing for some reason. Any shoes would work. I don't have any shoes for this outfit.

I went with simple makeup, it don't have any white foundation, and for a everyday look you wouldn't need that. I have normal foundation on, red lips stain, to match her lip look. I do actually recommend a lip stain instead of a lip stick because, as I found out, a lip stick will smudge and mess up the look. I also put on some mascara. From the pictures I looked at, I didn't see much eye makeup on Padme. Go ahead and try different looks though. 

I have a red shirt that is high necked and red pants. If you have a red dress, that would work good too, because she is actually wearing a dress, or her decoy .... I do like this outfit. The makeup is really fun.
