Cover Reveal ONCE I KNEW

Cover reaveil for Victoria Lynn's new book. ONCE I KNEW!

About the story!

Chronicles of Elira Book #1

Violet lives her quiet life in her sleepy village, trying to remain as dead to the politics that are threatening their world as possible. She follows the rules, stays out of trouble and does her best to remain out of sight from the dreaded and overbearing Kingsmen.

With the new regent on the throne till the prince comes of age, the country has been thrown into a turmoil. Unlike the kindly king before him, the chancellor is overbearing, frightening and tyrannical in his rule. Taxes are bleeding the people dry and without the money or goods to pay, they have been forced into penal servitude and imprisonment by the Kingsmen, who show no mercy. The despair and fear that has taken over their lives has ruled out any level of hope.

When Violet stumbles upon an unconscious and injured Kingsman in the woods, despite the consequences, she is compelled to take care of the injured man. When he wakes and has no memory of his identity or past, she takes the only precaution that will keep her and her grandmother safe; she destroys the evidence of his past life.

If Violet’s lowly Kingsman regains his memory, will she survive the consequences? And will the Kingsman be able to live with his past life? Who will fight to free Elira?

Book Cover Reveal : Write Your Novel

HI everyone I'm here with a awesome reveal.

Here we go for this new book coming soon, Go Teen Writers: Write Your Novel by Stephanie Morrill, Jill Williamson, and Shannon Dittemore. If you’re new to writing or struggle to finish books all the way to the end, this book is for you. Here’s the book description:

You have a story to tell, don’t you? Or maybe you simply want to try your hand at fiction writing. Perhaps you’ve given it your best effort, but simply didn’t have enough tools in your tool box to finish that first draft. Wherever you’re at with this novel-writing thing, popular bloggers Stephanie Morrill, Jill Williamson, and Shannon Dittemore totally understand.

They know it’s hard to finish a first draft. To stay motivated until the end. To feel like a “real” writer. They know because they’ve been there too.

In Go Teen Writers: Write Your Novel, you’ll learn:

  • There is no such thing as one right way to write a novel.
  • How to take an idea and give it a beginning, middle, and end.
  • What story structure means and how it strengthens a book.
  • Different approaches to plotting a novel.
  • How to develop characters worth reading about.
  • Strategies for creating memorable storyworlds and settings.
  • What theme is and how to use it to enrich your story.
  • What to do when your first draft is finished.

There’s no doubt about it. Learning to write a novel from beginning to end is a challenge. But with this book as your guide, you’ll see that when you’re in possession of the right tools, you’re capable of finishing what you start. You’ll be empowered and encouraged—as if you had a writing coach (or three!) sitting alongside you.

To learn more or preorder, go to: GoTeenWriters.com/WriteYourNovel

New Books I Want To Read

There are some new books that just came out or are coming out that I want to read. I normally don't read new books until they are a few years old. But hopefully I will get to read some of these before they are a year old. LOL.

The Boy Who Steals Houses by C.G. Drews

40170373

I already have this one pre-ordered so I know I will get to read this book. I just love the cover! I have wanted to read more blogger's books and this one looks so good! I will be doing a review when I finish reading it. This is a contemporary, that's what I read.

Another Kingdom By Andrew Klavan

38724307

Andrew Klavan is one of my favorite authors. I am always waiting for a new book of his to come out. So yes I can't wait to read this one. I have not got it yet, soon though, soon. This one is a sic-fi book, full of mystery stuff and action. I love all the action in Andrew's book. I am jumping up and down....

Within These Lines by Stephanie Morrill

40556592

I have been withing for this book to come out for a while. I always thought it sounded cool. I even suggested a part idea to the author. I wonder if it got in the book. Anyway I hope I get to read it. If you don't know already this is a historical romance. I think there is some mystery in it too.

Live Without You by Sarah Grace Grzy

43628921

I love the cover of this one. I keep hearing good things about it and I really want to read it! I know it has been out for a few months. I was tempted to join in on the book tour but I didn't end up doing it. I am excited to read it! This is a contemporary romance.

The Strange Case of Willoughby Spalding by Megan Wilcox

44300065

This was published not too long ago. I follow Meg's blog and enjoy reading her posts. This is a short story, a mystery, and I love mysteries. I am excited to read it when I buy it. Hopefully that is not to far in the future.  It also has a cool cover!

Murder in the City of Liberty by Rachel McMillan

Murder in the City of Liberty - By: Rachel McMillan

Okay this one is the second in the series and I haven't read the first one. I want to read both of them. This one will be out sometime soon... not sure when. I hope I get to read this cool looking mystery. I am going to be full of mystery if I ever end up reading all the mystery books I want to read. This one is historical mystery around the time before World War 2 starts.

My Poem is PUBLISHED

Okay everyone exciting news; Into the Beautiful: Mystery, is the book that I got my poem excepted into. It is now available to buy!

the cover looks so cool!

So so excited. I am going to be ordering some of them soon! You can find it at Amazon. It is paperback, the ebook will be available at some point.
                                                                              🔍
Fun things to know about this book. My poem is the first poem in the book. Well, lets say it was the first poem in the book. When I proof read my poem in the formatting it was the first poem. Also I forgot to mention (like too many times) my sister's poem is also in the book. Funny thing her poem is the last poem in the book. :)

All the poems should be clean, this is a Christian publisher!
18 and up was adult submissions, so I was in the adult categories, no I don't feel like an adult.
My sister was in the teen category. There were no children entries.

Later I plan to do a giveaway. Also if anyone would like to get some off the book, I get a discount so if I buy a lot of books and sell one to you, it will be cheaper for you. Also it will be signed.
If you want more information, message me or ask in the comments.
                                                                             🔍
It would be nice to know who would like a copy if they don't win the giveaway. I only get one chance to get a discount. Otherwise you can by it on Amazon only $7.99!

I can't wait to hold one in my hand!

Hay lovey people today I am doing a extra post this week because of this cool book that is coming out. I get the lovey opportunity to spotlight this book. It's going to be bight!

When I saw the cover I thought it looked like awesome book! And the quote "Prince of Persia Meets Mulan Adventure story" It made me really interested! So here I am with another book tour.

// About the book //

Retrieve (The Stormer’s Trilogy #1)
By Sarah Addison-Fox

What if the job you took to stay alive might be what kills you?

Kade knows what it is to suffer. He knows what it’s like to lose everything and everyone around him.

His job in a Stormer Unit guarantees not just his survival in the decimated country of Azetaria, but his sister Meg’s. Even if it means facing the Numachi warriors baying for his blood, he’ll do what it takes to keep her safe.

Hadley is alone and surviving the only way she knows how. By hiding where predators won’t find her and scavenging enough just to keep her alive.

When desperation drives Hadley to search for her missing brother, she mistakenly accepts the offer of recruitment into the Stormer’s camp, only to be partnered with Kade and sent as a scout into Numachi territory.

The intimidating young Stormer may just know where her brother has gone. But can they stay alive long enough to find him?

Parts from the book...a little taste of the adventure

Kade moved so he was crouching alongside her, his eyes still watching the entrance to the alley. “I’ll give you a minute to rest, then we need to move, we’ll only get one chance at this.”
White hot fear flowed through her as she gaped at him. “We’re still going to get the princess?”
Kade angled his head so she could see the hint of blood dripping from his nose. “We have a job to do. We have to adapt. No matter what happens, Stormers get the job done.”
*****
"I need you to say something to them. Act scared, and don't say anything else no matter what happens, got it?"
Hadley's grip tightened around his waist. "Whatever you say."
Kade exhaled slowly, his eyes locked on the shapes, now plainly heading directly towards him. There was no doubt now. They were warriors, and they were on horseback.
*****
He glanced at his forearm and grimaced as he made out the ink beneath the smear of green he’d forgotten to reapply. The snake coiled around the blade visible should anyone get close enough to look. And they would look. They always looked.

Blank Mastermind Book Release Tour

Rosemary is releasing her awesome book, Blank Mastermind! So excited! It will be out December 13th. Read my post than go see her awesome blog writefury.
Okay this a short scene from Blank Mastermind enjoy, then go get her book.

No pressure.

But really.

One more thing...  I thought this was kind of a cool place to introduce some of the other characters.By the way Wolfgang is the narrator, a guy with amnesia; a mastermind who doesn't want to be a mastermind.

A short scene from Part 4 Going for a drive....

“Introduce me to the gang.” I adjusted the mirror so it focused on the car behind
us. It was still a ways back, but I could make out general outlines if I squinted.
“Ho boy.” News took a quick look over his shoulder, then looked forward and
rubbed his hands together. “Roy’s the kid driving with the toothpick in his teeth. Spiky
hair and sunglasses. You see ‘im?”
I nodded.
“He’s usually sort of the assigned getaway driver, since he’s the best at ignoring
speed limits. Been driving since his foot could reach the pedal without breaking the
moisture seal on his diaper.” Bad News pushed his hat back a little. “Correct me if I’m
wrong, but I think you’ve known him the longest?”
I wasn’t really in the position to correct anything, so I kept quiet, filing away the
information on the person in the driver’s seat behind us. The car started to veer a little
and I looked back down, correcting course. I pressed down a little harder. Give us a little
more time.
“Liza’s the one with turquoise hair in the passenger seat,” News continued. “She’s
the main mechanic. I mean . . . you do quite a bit too. She works out the plans and stuff
though.”
I moved my gaze to the head of turquoise hair. Quick to make judgments, but it
didn’t seem like that brightly colored of hair would usually top a brilliant mind.
“Mechanic for . . .?”
The giant didn’t seem to hear me. He glanced over his shoulder again. “Chris is
the older guy with the cowboy hat. He . . . talks to you and shoots stuff and swears a lot, I
guess.”
Oh yippee. Sounded like a productive role.
“And Cardboard is the little girl with the orange shirt and the big hair.”
It took effort not to veer the car off the road while I stared at the dark-skinned,
tiny child in the rearview mirror. The oldest she could possibly be was seven.
Cardboard?
“Is there . . . a reason she’s named Cardboard?”
Bad News shrugged. “She’s Roy’s kid. Roy likes naming things weird. And he
found her in a dumpster marked ‘Cardboard Only’, so he thought it would be pretty funny
to name her that.”
I looked over the faces again as the car got closer. The hotshot getaway car driver
. . . the turquoise haired mechanic . . . the sour-faced cowboy . . . and the little girl named
after a packaging material.
That wasn’t counting the elephant-sized enigma named Bad News in my
passenger seat.
And I was supposed to be their leader. Only I had amnesia and would kind of . . .
rather not be a criminal. Which left me the task of trying to convince them not to kill an
innocent teenage boy I’d already shot once.
Look up “predicament” in the dictionary. I’m pretty sure you’ll see some
reference to this situation.
Holy. Freaking. Smoke. I’ll have a mutiny on my hands. I’ll get Dallas killed. I’ll
get me killed. What am I doing . . .?
My head pounded and I tried not to hyperventilate. Think . . . there’s got to be
something to do . . .
Roy pushed his sunglasses up on his forehead and waved, pointing to the side of
the road.
Out of time.
➽➽➽➽➽➽➽

Out of time, yes he is. What will happen? Can Wolfgang figure it out and not get killed?
I loved reading this book on Rosemary's blog, now it is revised and soon to be out to buy. Can't wait for it to come out!
