Star Wars Looks Leia on Hoth

This is one of my favorite looks that I have done. They have been fun.

Another Star Wars Look outfit, I really liked putting this one together. I used items I already had and made do. :) Course I try to pick outfits that will work with what I have.

This is the outfit that Leia had on Hoth. It's a really fun look. Here is a picture from the movie of her Hoth outfit.

I think the hair turned out really good. She sort of has two different hair styles but this one she has on Hoth. When she heads to Cloud City her hair is a little different. I like both looks.

Make up was fun. I did a better job this time. I have red lip color, any red or pink color will work. Some pictures of Leia looks like she had red but a few look like she had pink lip color. I have foundation and a small amount of blush. I was following what I saw in the picture. I have mascara and eye liner. When I get around to doing a tutorial I'll tell you some secrets about the makeup.....

I have a jacket that works really well. For the movie Leia has a white jump suit and vest.

I have white pants.

And brown boots, the same ones I used for Luke's outfit. Leia had gray boots in the movie. I lack all colors except brown; I need to get my act together and get some other colored boots.....

Here are the other looks I have done

Star Wars Looks Luke and Leia

May the 4th be with you! Today I have a special post.

I've had a lot of fun with this post. I really enjoy dressing up and challenging myself to look like a character. These outfits are all from clothes I already had. My idea was so that you could wear these two outfits them anytime anywhere. Come on who doesn't want to look like some one from Star Wars all the time! LOL.
This is going to be a series of this so more outfits are coming....

This is the first outfit I decided to go with because it was easy was Leia's outfit at the end of A New Hope. I have a white shirt under this white dress, white leggings. She has white or gray shoes, but I could't find my gray flats.

I don't know if I like how the hair turned out. I need to work on that.

I did a bit of make up maybe too complex because I don't think it made me look that more like Leia. I did pink lipstick some blush and contour, eye liner and mascara. If ya ever want a full tutorial on how I do her make up/// I'm better now. Let me know.

I also tried a longer dress for this look, but I liked the shorter one better, even though it is not as accurate.

This outfit was based off of Luke's outfit when he battle's Darth Vader the second time in the last movie ( episode 6) from the first ones made.

I went with a black turtle neck shirt.

Not much make up. Cuz he doesn't have any.

Black glove and pants. I don't have any black boots so I went with my brown ones a have.

I did even more characters so I will be doing some more posts like a series. Let me know if anyone would like to have a contest of dressing up like a Star Wars character.

All this month I'm going to have fun Star Wars posts. SO don't miss out and come back soon. May the 4th be with you!

Week of Vintage Hair Challange

I've wanted to do this for a while and finally got a week to do it. I wanted to challenge my self to do this, because I haven't done a lot of vintage stuff in a while.

Get ready for too many pictures of me....

DAY 1

The first day I went with some victory rolls. I wasn't very year pacific becomes I was just having fun.

 DAY 2

This is one of my favorite. I did one roll in the middle up front.

 DAY 3

Here I did a bunch of little victory rolls in the front. I think you call this a poodle.

DAY 4

I went for a more 60's or so style, kinda 30's too.

 DAY 5

I didn't really have much of an idea today. Just kinda went with two different things.

DAY 6

Here I rapped up my hair on both sides and added a scarf with a bun in the back.

DAY 7

Here I kinda went with a retro type look. Just two ponytails and a little Bennie.

What is your favorite way to style your hair?
Will you try the challenge?

My Summer Lookbook (with a little bit of vintage)

I have seen some lookbooks on YouTube and thought it would be cool to do a lookbook on my blog.

I like dressing vintage so you will get some vintage looks as well as a mix of modern outfits. This should be fun. I hope you get some up ideas for your own summer shopping or outfit matching.

First outfit...

I kinda went with a 40's look. I'm not really a pro at the exact look, but it is fun to get smoothing close that is still easy to wear.

Shirt from Walmart.

Shoes, maybe Jcpenny.

Skirt came from Thread Up. An online thrift store.

Black purse was a gift.

Second outfit....

Rainy summer days? This is a fun look.

Got the rain jacket from Walmart.

Shoes you can find on Amazon. They are awesome cowboy rain boots!  Leggings also from walmart.

Third outfit....

I think this is my favorite. I was looking for a some what of a adventure 30's look.

Vest and shirt were from thrift stores.

Boots and pants from Jcpenny.

Fourth outfit....

Here I was going for a 60's or 70's look.

Skirt I made myself. Headband from Walmart.

Shoes from Jcpenny. I think.

Shirt I got from a thrift store.

Fifth outfit.....

I was in a rush to get this one together. I would say I have a little 70's in this outfit.

Top was a gift.

 Skirt from Jcpenny.

Shoes I got from thrift store. I also forgot to get a pic of them up close.

Sixth outfit....

I was going for a 50's look.

Shirt thrift. Shorts from Jcpenny. I think you might be seeing a pattern...

Shoes I think Shopco or Jcpenny.

I hope you liked this. And maybe got some ideas for summer fashion. If you have anymore questions about the outfits or makeup ask in the comments. I would love to tell you more.
