November 2020 Investigation

Well, it's been a busy month everyone. Here is what happened.

I'm not sure if I'm ready for December, but that doesn't stop it from coming. November was a good month, though I had a lot of thing to think about and get figured out.

Helped with sorting calves, with dad, to get them shipped off to sale day.

Finished reading the Bible, in which I had started in January. I really loved reading it cover to cover, it gave me a new perspective on the whole story God has given us.

ON the 14th of November my cousin got married.

I didn't write a lot this month. I should have, but I just haven't done that much, I feel, like I failed the blogging a little this month too.

THe 11th was my 2ed blog anniversary. Course you might know I don't have my Q&A video up. sorry about that. .....

The 25th was the day I got Solo a year ago. In which I was sick at the time. I'm sot thankful I am not sick this year. I can work with him everyday and not worry.

I finished one fiction book this month, "Shouldn't you be in School?" By Lemony Snicket
It was a very good book, Listened to the audio book, because it was free, on the online library. I've also started the 4th book.

Watched a lot of old movies. and funny fails on youtube with my family.

I got a cellphone, though, I'm not sure If it will be working until December 1st. In which by than I might be getting a new job.

Did a few flexibility challenge both a split challenge and a back challenge. It was fun and I am happy about the back challenge.

Did a fun photo shoot with my aunt. πŸ ‰πŸ ‰πŸ ‰
My sister turned 18 and we had a party and did thanksgiving on Saturday.

Blessings!

What did you do this month?
Did you read any good books?

My First Costume Contest

Here we go folks ... My costume for Movie Critic's  5th Costume Contest.

Now this should have been easy for me to come up with a costume. I have so many ideas I wanted to work with for cosplay, but no, I struggled from day one (of knowing about this)  to come up with a costume that I could do well, without buying anything. Also to find someone that didn't look a lot, not like me.

I came up with ideas and than well, I couldn't find enough matching clothing or my hair was too long. Yeah I was so determined to do well. Finally I came up with a character that I have dressed like before and had gotten clothing to look like her. I don't know why I didn't think of it sooner. But that's what I did to myself. I did get some new fun ideas for the future though.

Any way I'm sure you want to know what I picked.

Evie from 'The Mummy' Or Evelyan O'Connell played by Rachel Weise

I've only seen 'The Mummy' once a long time ago.

I really like to dress up as Evie ,the movie is in the 30's and a few of her outfits are fun. Of course this youtuber Rachel Masky makes me so excited about dressing up. Here is the makeup guide of hers I followed for Evie.

Now for the reveal. My cosplay of Evie.

Hair went a little crazy. I have way more hair than she did.

Almost the items were thrifted.

Shirt, I found at a thrift store it's brand is Christopher and Banks

Skirt I got from ThredUP (an online thrift store)  it's brand is L.L Bean

Boots thrifted. Brand: Aldo

Notebook I got from a store in Florida, I think it was Ross.

Belt came from Walmart.

The tie I have isn't very accurate to Evie's. But it's what I had.

πŸ’£Behind the scenes of this photo day and costume πŸ’₯

Doing my hair after make up. I braided the hair the night before to get it curly.

Picture with the crazy circle light in the way. It was snowing outside so I did the photos inside.

My prize hat. ❤❤ I got this in Disney Land. A long time ago. I was maybe 12.

Blurry, but I kinda like the photo. Ever have that problem?

Hello, what are you doing there little book?

Hope you like this look that I chose for my costume. It was fun for sure! Don't forget to check out Movies Meet There Match Costume Contest to see all the other costumes and fun.

Trying Bookstagram Photos

Okay something a little different. I got this idea from Instagram and bookstagramers and wanted to try it out.

So here area what I've been doing. And what I've been thinking.

One book with 70's matching items 🠝🠝🠝🠝

tried more or less books all with matching colors.

My other idea

started off with the camera case and found some books that matched. These were all small and vintage looking. Most of them were classics too.

Tired one green book on the right.

Also you can find me on Instagram @rahwrite

Have you tried book photos?

Have any tips for me?

October 2020 Investigation

This month was very crazy and fun and cold and my birthday month.

October started off at camp or going to camp rather. Yes traveling. It was a long drive.

Went to the tea party on Saturday.

My table that I sat at. So fun!

All the lovey ladies that went to the tea party from our cabin. πŸ …πŸ …πŸ …

Horse day

more fun; played dodge ball a lot.

Firework night.

I read one book. Secret Of Seaside. It was really interesting, and I read it on the go as we traveled. It was great for that. Easy read. Though I would say it's for a slight older reader. I wasn't for sure if there was going to be anything bad. there wasn't, but I wasn't for sure as I kept reading. There is some language. I guessed the bad guy so, yay on that, it wasn't to hard either. I want to read the rest of the books for sure.

Getting ready for Movie Critic's Costume contest  ^^^^^

It snowed and got ready cold. so that really isn't fun.......

I haven't written much. I've gotten back to sewing. Some days I just don't get anything done unless I have a deadline.

Oh and my blogannversary is coming up so drop me some questions for me (if you have not given me questions)  to do in my 2nd blog anniversary Q&A ....also I might do a giveaway later this month. We will see, let me know if you want one.

Started sewing a dress for my sister. It is looking so good. I'll show you soon.

Had a party on my birthday date. Yeah I'm 20, yikes...........
