Always work to get the leg lower and closer to the ground

make sure your hip is in line and you don't stretch it out of alignment. sometimes I go back and forth threw these stretches before going down to the split however far that is. These are the last stretches I do but the main ones for splits. Stay tuned for tip 2 tomorrow.

Questions Your Too Afraid To Ask /// Answered

Hello!

yep I'm here to answer.

First question

Hi, I know your Lamb cousins, and know the girls don’t wear pants. I’m wondering what your thoughts are on that, since I see that you regularly wear both in your pictures. Since knowing them I’ve started wearing skirts more just because I realized I really love dressing up and feeling extra feminine. But I also wear pants because some things (like riding horses) is a lot easier in britches. :) But my experience has been that when I wear skirts for “regular life” I get treated with a bit more respect, and feel a little more true to myself. Which do you prefer? Do you ever feel like people treat you differently when you’re wearing a skirt?

Answer: This is an interesting question, it's true and I've thought about it some as well. Not all our cousins who are from our family wear skirts all the time ; but the ones you are thinking of do. Its how we were raised and how our mothers were raised to dress. My mom was raised to wear skirts for church and for daily wear, but for chores she wore pants and for riding. My mom had 8 siblings and each of them has a different look on how to dress. The oldest Mom's brother married and she was taught to always wear skits, skirts were modest. So the girls there taught to always skirts. I like both. I've always worn skirts or dresses for church, but I like to were pants for chores and riding, it's way easier and I'm more comfortable. I think over time we come to our own way to look at dressing in skirts. I like to dress in skirts and dress up, but I don't find a lot things to do it for. I'm not sure if Iv'e noticed being treated differently wearing a skirt. I don't really have a problem with pants or skirts. But some places one or the other is more practical.

Second question

Which is more annoying to you when you’re watching a movie with someone: when they keep repeating all the quotable lines out loud like a mimicking toddler, or when they never staunch their vocal commentary about what the director did wrong because it’s totally not like the book?

A: Sometimes we all go crazy and quote a line or so quote for quote.Let's just say we watch the same movies too much.  It can be annoying.  But it is way more annoying to have them talk about what was wrong with the movie. That happens too much...............................

Question about my writing

What is your favorite part of the writing process—brainstorming, planning, writing, or revising? What is your most consistent source of story ideas (watching movies, reading other books, dreams, etc.)? Have you ever written a fanfic piece? Who is your favorite author whose style you’d like to emulate? Do you prefer the mystery, adventure, or drama aspect in novels? What is a favorite book you’ve read in each of those categories? Thanks! I loved the May posts!!!

A: I love the planning so much. It might be my favorite, but I do love the writing too. Movies can be a big part of getting Ideas, and books. Sometimes it can just be a word or something else that gives me an idea for a story. I haven't had too many dreams that gave me a story idea. Iv'e not written a fanfic yet. I want to, I really want to!  Well I really like Andrew Klavan's writing style and I'd like to write like him in some ways. Of course I like the way the Hardy Boys are written too, so some books I want a slight feel of how they are. I love the mystery in a story, though adventure is great too. I'm not into drama as much. For mystery, one of my favorite is Murder on the Orient Express. For adventure, If I Survive, by Andrew Klavan. For drama I'm not into much drama, but I think the one book I just read Buried Secrets by Irene Hannon, has some drama. That would be favorite.

Questions from Skye
What is your writing process like?
What is your favorite thing to write?

My writing process can be kind of crazy. First I get an idea, either I plan it out on paper or most of it stays in my head. I kind of plan as I go too. Most of the time I have written in notebooks. So after I have it planned I start writing in a notebook. Once I finish it, I normally let it sit a while before typing it onto the computer. I do some editing and work on the story, but I'm mostly trying to get it on my computer. Once I've finish that I let it sit a bit before coming back and editing. Now the next step I haven't done a lot on yet. But I would let others read it and get feedback before doing more edits. Most of the time I'm working on more than one project at a time.
I love to write a lot of things, but my favorite has got to be mystery and thrillers, something that is high pace and were the reader has a chance to solve the mystery with the characters.

Questions from MovieCritic

What is the best red herring in a mystery that you've read?
What is a book you wish would be made into a movie? Who would you cast?
What is the easiest way to train horses?

A:   Anyone of Agatha Christie's books have a great red herring. But this one got me good, Murder of Roger Ackroyd.
I would really like the Dragon in our Mist series to be made into a movie. Not sure who I would cast. I'm sure there are some good actors who would fit.
Well, if your training a horse from the beginning. It's not really easy, but if you get them young that's one why to start making it easier. If you get them well de-spooked and calm and start longing them it will make things a lot easier.  If you start right, it will make it easier, also you want to have lots of experience on other trained horses before you start training a young horse.

Well that's my two cents ....

What would your answers be?
Have you learned anything new?

Stay tuned I'm planning on doing a split challenge soon.

I entered this dress into state 4h congress fashion review which was cool. I didn't get anything, but it was fun. And I love the dress.

I also got to do my dog 4h demonstration for congress. It was all online so yeah, it was easy.

My sister had a graduation on the 19th. It was fun. We got to see some old friends and talk. Also Keturah and her sister came, which was great!

^^^^ Some of the kids played 4 square in the air. Also went to Jessi's for a while to watch a few Relam Makers videos with the group.

I wrote a lot 100 for 100, The story has been going good, though some days I struggle to get 100 words. I think I have a lot of plot holes already, which bugs me. I can't help it right now so I keep writing.

Baby birds. They are so big already. I also started instagram this month. It's been fun. I've been learning to make a story so that's been interesting.

I Read one book this month. I had it on a online library lone; I figured I wouldn't get to read it if I didn't get to it. Buried Secrets By Irene Hannon , It was good.

Things are little out of order here but I took my HiSet which is like a GED they just call it something different here. On the 13th I look the test and just god my diploma for it.

I have been sewing so much. Made this apron in a few days for my Mom. I'm entering it in fair though.

Made this dress too. I love it!!!!

I've been pretty happy with my sewing this year. I'm crunching for time though, I sewed another Jedi robe in a three days for fair I have everything about ready.

In August I plan to do a split challenge in a week. I'm close so I hope this will get me farther. Also I want to help you get closer to your splits. So everyday for 7 days I'm going to post my progress and some tips to get the splits. I will be posting on here, and on Instagram, so where ever you what to follow you can. To participate you can post your progress everyday or just the start to the end. On your blog or Instagram. Join me at Instagram for stories on split tips. Wretched Me (WIP Short)

I'm back and here with another story for blogbattlers. This is part of my WIP story which is the story I have been working on. Its just a small part, but I hope you like it.

*******

We parked outside the police station. The last place I thought I'd ever be. I felt like a wreck. The scenarios of what could happen were going through my head making me shake with nervous energy.

“Don’t look so wretched.” Colter eyed me. “Play it cool.”

Play it cool. Easy for him to say. I got out of the pickup and managed to get it together, I thought about how I dealt with nerves before a big track competition. I was different and it didn’t matter, I would win. It was better to stay calm and take in every detail. I looked up at the sign in red lettering: Delta’s Police Department.

The place had long windows in the front. We walked in together. I was glad Colter was here. It made me feel like I was a kid. Who'd gotten into trouble and was here with an adult so she could apologize. I wasn’t a kid anymore, this was bigger than a minor offence. There was murder in the air and I somehow was involved. Which no one knew about yet. So I had nothing to worry about. I was wrong. I'm wrong about a lot of things.

We found ourselves in the detective’s office. It wasn’t at all fancy, it was just a side room where they had stuffed him along with a bunch of boxes. But if I remembered correctly he was a private detective so this was just an office. And he was just using it, he most likely had demanded for one and they gave in, giving him some old storage office. His name was Holstrum. Last name anyway. He sat down looking at us. I noticed he looked tired. I hoped he didn’t see through my disguise as he had a picture of me on the table. It was a little old. I was glad the leather jacket in the picture was not the same one I was wearing. I wore that one a lot. My clothing choice didn’t change much.

Sorry if it seems like just a taste, but I can't reveal too much.
Also I will be back to posting on Sunday.

June Investigation 2020

The month is over. It was a really good month, so much has happened.

It's been getting warmer and not much rain....

I started the 100 for 100 Go Teen Writers summer challenge. It's been going good. I've gotten around 5k written so far.  Here is a bit of what my story is all about.

I'm still reading Ben-Hur 😅 I want to finish it. I suppose I did read the book of Psalms. The whole book; so that takes some reading time as well.

Everything has been busy with riding and getting ready for fair, which I hope will still happen.

Nala^ Me and Nala have been working on some obstacle course stuff. She really loves to learn new things.

Went to a branding. It was very cool. A lot different then our branding.

Yeah I learned how to wrangle a calf, though I just took some pictures first.

Also got to see a friend's goats.

Went to town and took some pictures with this cool plane. That's Dad^...  For my sister's grad photos mostly.

Me sister. She got done with school this month.

On Father's Day we got to ride in this coach that has been going across the state of Montana.

It was supper cool and such a neat experience.  Another thing to mark off the list. LOL

Me with the plane too. It's a biplane bty. I love the cool Reto setting on my camera
