Detective Aesthetics

Today I'm going to do something kind of fun. This month I'm planning lots of story/ writing/ detective stuff. Hope you enjoy the detective aesthetics.

*Most pictures are from Pinterest.

“Not many girls would have used their wits the way you did," the officer observed.
― Carolyn Keene, The Secret of the Old Clock

"I see," Nancy said. "Did he happen to say where he was going?" -The Haunted Show Boat

Taking her magnify glass from a pocket, she trained it in the left- and right-hand corners of the stone tablet. - The Secret of the Forgotten City

ArtStation - 70's Detective Office, Anton Freixas

"No,no; the real name," said Holmes sweetly.  "It is always awkward doing business with an alias." - The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes

"I had," he said, "come to an entirely erroneous conclusion which shows, my dear Watson, how dangerous it always is to reason from insufficient data....." -Sherlock Holmes

As they dashed out the door, Frank said, "Why, Auntie, we're detectives too, remember?" -While the Clock Ticked

Joe whistled. "Amazing what a little disguise can do to change a man's appearance!" -The Secret Agent on Flight 101

Frank rubbed his chin. "That's the best thing to do in a case like this. When you've got the criminals in sight, keep them in sight." - Mystery of the Flying Express

Gang member sneaking into a building
“I’m going in,” Andy stated.
“No, it is too dangerous,” Ed shouted; he lowered his voice. “He could be dangerous.” -The Historian's Secret

The still figure spoke, “Detective Cartwright, a pleasure to finally meet you.”
“And who have I the pleasure of addressing?” - The Historian's Secret

“Unless you are good at guessing, it is not much use being a detective.” - Hercule Poirot

"Eh bien?"- Hercule Poirot

"That, I will say, was our theory." - Hercule Poirot, Murder on the Orient Express

That was fun. I might not be posting this Sunday. I will see you next Thursday with another detective post!
