Last post of the year. Hope everyone had a good year and is ready for the new year!

Today I'm going to share the deleted parts of a poem I entered into a contest. I had to shorten the poem and it turned into a poem of it's own. So I hope you enjoy, I will be sure to tell you if I get into the winnings.

To Keep the Secret

The secret in the book shelf,

Is the books on the shelf,

And if there was no writer,

There would be no bookshelf.

For unless you find the secret,

A book for all to read,

Than the hidden story,

that has no name,

Will stay forever hidden;

And the mystery to be discovered,

Will never be uncovered.

Books must be created,

From the mystery at hand,

And once you discover it,

Your sure to understand.

I dyed my hair with Kool Aid. I have wanted to do it for a while and finally got to do it. I thought it turned out pretty good. If any one wants me to to do a tutorial, please tell me so. If you would rather watch a video there are lots on YouTube.

The color has lasted almost a week. Washed it once with shampoo and it was still in. So it lasts a nice amount of time, without being too long.

Took a funny picture with my throwing Knives. Be scared.

Here is the picture of the dress I made.

Took me about to months to make because I didn't get around to sewing a lot, but finally it is done.

It has a peter pan collar, 8 buttons and hidden pockets.

More pictures... This first one is a little weird, but i kinda like it. It's so mysterious. 

 Cake my mom made it was good.   

 

I had fun playing around with black and white.

I only finished one book this month even if I started reading a few. I read some short stories by O. Henry, they were very good.

This next year I hope to do more fun posts, I want to do some code posts, some detective stuff, spy stuff, more book stuff. Lots of my sewing. I want to share more about my books. I am working on some short stories so I hope to share them on this blog. So lots of fun stuff. I hope you stick around and join me on this adventure!!! This is going to be a different monthly up date than last time 

This month has went by so fast! It was a great month got a lot done. Had my moms birthday. I finished the dress I was sewing so I will be starting my big project so you will be seeing posts about that. So excited!!!!!

Retrieve Book Tour/ Spotlight

Parts from the book...a little taste of the adventure

Kade moved so he was crouching alongside her, his eyes still watching the entrance to the alley. “I’ll give you a minute to rest, then we need to move, we’ll only get one chance at this.”

White hot fear flowed through her as she gaped at him. “We’re still going to get the princess?”

Kade angled his head so she could see the hint of blood dripping from his nose. “We have a job to do. We have to adapt. No matter what happens, Stormers get the job done.”

"I need you to say something to them. Act scared, and don't say anything else no matter what happens, got it?"

Hadley's grip tightened around his waist. "Whatever you say."

Kade exhaled slowly, his eyes locked on the shapes, now plainly heading directly towards him. There was no doubt now. They were warriors, and they were on horseback.

He glanced at his forearm and grimaced as he made out the ink beneath the smear of green he’d forgotten to reapply. The snake coiled around the blade visible should anyone get close enough to look. And they would look. They always looked.

I really enjoyed this book! I think the end was my favorite. I also learned some writing things.

Mystery Movies/ More to solve

Hi here I am with more mystery movies.These are more for your detectives skills... you have a chance to solve the mystery. 

I love these type of movies me and my family go crazy trying to guess who this the culprit. I'm serous!

 Garage Sale Mystery

This mystery was supper fun to try to guess who the killer was. I also like it because it isn't too graphic. We always talk about the story so much afterwards.

Jennifer is always looking for diamonds in garage sales and seems to find old and beautiful things for her shop.  One day she goes to her friends house to find her dead. It looks like a accident, but Jennifer isn't so sure.

Zootopia


This movies is sweet and at the same time full of mystery.

Judy Hopps becomes the fist rabbet cop and goes to Zootopia where animals of all kinds come together in equals. But what if it is not as happy and equal as Judy thought. Animals are going missing and the head cop wont give her a chance. She must team up with a fox to find out what is happening.
We just saw this for the second time. I love this movie. You get a chance to guess who is doing the crime and how?

The Ghost and Mr. Chicken


This is a comedy with some mystery. It is a old movie I really like.

Luther Heggs is a want to be reporter, he gets his chance when he is asked to spend the night in the Simmons mansion. Crazy things happen and its all in the paper. But some one isn't so happy about the news. Can Luther prove it really happened? Who was doing the spooking and why?
This is a funny mystery with plenty of drama.

Kit Kittredge 


This is one of my favorite American Gil moves, Why? Because there is a mystery.

Kit is a girl growing up in the depression. She wants to be a reporter some day. When a crime spree  occurs in her town she is determined to find out who is involved. It can't be the hobos, can it? Her own house is stolen from and now they might lose the house. Can she and her friends get the money back before it is too late.
This is a good story and your soon surprised who are the crooks.

Framed for Murder 


This mystery is full of tangled secrets and red herrings.

Shannon is a fixer upper, she loves to renovate and restore old Victorian houses. Morning comes and Shannon visits a friend to find him dead on the floor. She seems to be the only one who suspects fowl play. She must find out what is going on.
My, my, we totally went crazy trying to figure out who the killer was. There were so many suspects; in the end were thinking we should have known who it really was.

All That Glitters


This is another garage sale mystery. It is not as good as the other one, but who can resist a mystery.

Jennifer the bargain hunter buys a storage unit and finds some unexpected things. When the owner of the storage facility is killed, things get complicating.
Well in this one there were not very many suspects so we had less fun, but it is a mystery and I enjoyed it. There is plenty of things to guess about.
